Puducherry, Oct 14 (UNI) The Puducherry unit of the Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) and the Rastriya Janata Dal(RJD) today took strong exception to the failure of the administration to post an invitation to them for the all party meeting.
Chief Minister V Vaithilingam had convened the all party meeting last week to discuss the issue pertaining to the implementation of the ''Goondas Act'' in the Union territory.
Addressing a press conference here, NCP president Sundaramurty and RJD president Sanjeevi said the previous Rangasamy government used to give proper respect to all political parties which was missing in the present government headed by Mr Vaithilingam.
Demanding that Mr Vaithilingam should own moral responsibility for not extending the invitation, they demanded that if it was the fault of any IAS officer, he or she should be sent back to New Delhi, and in case it was the mistake of any civil service officers, explanation should be sought from them.
Stating that the Prime Minsiter Manmohan Singh, AICC President Sonia Gandhi, Agriculture Minister and NCP leader Sharad Pawar and Railway Minister and RJD chief Lalu Prasad, have been informed they said Mr Vaithilingam should make it clear whether the government was treating the NCP and RJD, partners in the UPA Government at the Centre, as 'friendly parties, opposition parties or enemy' parties.
