New York, Oct 14 : Queen of pop Madonna feels that she's a writer deep within.
The 50-year-old star took a break from her 'Sticky and Sweet' tour to attend the premiere of her directorial debut 'Filth' in New York, which she has also co-written.
"Writing it was actually my favourite part because it is so different from everything I do and deep down inside I'm really a writer," the New York Daily News quoted her, as saying.
"I'm so happy with the finished product," she said of her film.
The cast members also said that Madge was a perfectionist in the director's chair; however, the film has received lukewarm reviews from critics.
"She knew exactly what she wanted and there was no in between. She made everything very clear," said lead actress Holly Weston, who plays a pole-dancing ballerina.
"Everything had to be perfect. I think she was even there before us in the morning," she added.
