Groundnutseed, oil, RBD Palm oil recover

Mumbai, Oct 14 (UNI) Prices of groundnutseed and its oil along with RBD palm oil recovered today following speculative demand from stockists, traders at the Bombay Commodity Exchange said.

In oilseeds (per quintal), groundnutseed and castorseed Disa improved by Rs 25 per quintal each on fresh demand from bulk consumers.

Similarly, kardiseed and seasame seed also went up by Rs 20 and Rs 25 per quintal respectively following better buying support by local dealers.

In oils (per ten kg), groundnut oil, cottonseed refined and refined palm oil shot up by Rs 5 per ten kg each on lesser stock supply by stockists.

Even rapeseed exp and soyabean ref also became costlier by Rs 5 and Rs 3 per ten kg respectively.

All de-oiled cakes remained steady today on scattered buying by stockists, traders added.
