Hyderabad, Oct 14: CA on Tuesday, Oct 14 announced plans to expand its India Technology Center (ITC) with the construction of a new 180,000 sq ft building in its campus in the city. When completed in late 2010, the new USD 30 million research and development (R&D) building will have the capacity to house an additional 1,000 employees. ''As the world's leading independent IT management software company, CA relies on a vibrant and diverse workforce with major sites around the world,'' CA's Enterprise IT Management Group Executive Vice-President Ajei Gopal said in a statement.

Opened a year ago after four years of CA R&D activity in India, the ITC now contributes to the development of all major CA products in the areas of IT management, governance and security.
