BJP condemns attack on Rodrigues, Sakhardande
Panaji, Oct 14 (UNI) Goa unit of BJP today strongly condemned the brutal assualt on social activist Advocate Aires Rodrigues and Heritage Conservationist Prajal Sakhardande last night, by a masked gang in a city restaurant.
Opposition leader Mr Manohar Parrikar, speaking to mediapersons here said a BJP delegation would meet the Governor at Raj Bhavan on Friday and will demand that the Digamber Kamat goverment be sacked or the Chief Minister should himself step down, alleging them of being a government of criminals.
He also alleged that Chief Minister and Home Minister were directly involved in the criminal nexus and were responsible for the assault. He also appealed to people to show the door to the government.
BJP is also planning an agitation involving people of all the groups including NGOs and the date of the agitation would be decided in couple of days, Mr Parrikar added.
