Hyderabad, Oct 13 (UNI) Nava Telangana Praja Party (NTPP) president T Devender Goud today alleged that the Telangana Rastra Samithi (TRS) was sidetracking the Telangana movement concentrating only on the next General Elections in 2009.

Participating in a 'Meet-the-Press' programme organised by the Andhra Pradesh Union of Working Journalists here, he said TRS President K Chandrasekhara Rao was busy in finalising poll alliances with other parties in the State but not sincere on separate Telangana movement.

Mr Goud would soon take an all-party delegation to New Delhi to meet Prime Minister Manmohan Singh, AICC President Sonia Gandhi and Union Agriculture Minister Sharad Pawar and urge them to introduce a Bill on separate Telangana during winter session of Parliament.

Mr Goud said he would visit Sircilla on October 15 and hold dharna in protest against the ''government's failure to protect the weavers.'' Regarding the Left parties' proposal to form an alliance with the TDP in the next elections, he said they should think about their political agenda before forging an alliance with the TDP.
