One arrested for conversion
Dhar, MP, Oct 13 (UNI) One person has been arrested allegedly on the charge of abetting conversion at Dhamnod town in this district, police said today.
''On the complaint of local resident, police raided Khuntamod village-resident Ganesh Bharud's house, seized conversion-related material and arrested him under the Freedom of Religion Act,'' Dhamnod Station House Officer B S Parihar said.
Ganesh resided at a house in the Housing Board colony in Dhamnod and invited labourers at his house for treatment every Sunday.
He made them offer prayers of a particular religion and induced them to convert on the promise of sending them abroad for job.
