Five die in road mishap
Raisen, MP, Oct 13 (UNI) Five people were today burnt alive during a fire that broke out when a car collided head-on with a truck at Amravad Dam Sagar road, 13 km from this district, police said.
Car driver Battu was returning from Bhopal after getting treatment of a relative when he dozed off while driving and the car dashed into a truck containing husk.
The car, which was running on a gas cylinder, caught fire due to the impact of the collision killing four passengers and the car driver instantly.
The truck also caught fire and fire brigade officials were fighting flames.
Apart from the car driver, the deceased included Kamlesh Malviya and Pooran. Two deceased, including a woman, were yet to be identified.
Truck driver has been arrested.
