New Delhi, Oct 12 (UNI) His 'Sardar' look in soon-to-be-released multistarrer 'Heroes' has grabbed eyeballs galore and peaked the curiosity of the cinegoers towards the film.
It is not just cinegoers, Sikhs in particular, across the world have been going ga ga over Bollywood hunk Salman Khan's new avataar in the Sameer Karnik-directed film.
Salman's new look also has won him admiration from his colleagues in the industry, especially his co-stars in the film.
One person who just can't stop praising his look in 'Heroes' is his co-star Preity Zinta.
Preity, who has earlier never complimented her male co-stars, said, ''This is for the first time that my male co-star's look made me go completely in awe of him. Salman plays a Punjabi Jat in the film and every time I saw him in that get up I'd go, "Wow! You look so good, Salman!" ''Salman and I have worked together earlier in films but I had never compliemented him ever. But Salman's Sikh look swept me off my feet,'' she added.
In fact, trade sources reveal that when Preity, who plays Salman's wife in the film, was in London recently, a couple of Sikh fans came up to her and complimeted her on 'Heroes' as well as Salman's look in the film.
They told her that they are waiting in anticipation for 'Heroes' to release.
Scheduled for release worldwide on October 24, 'Heroes' has in its cast a galaxy of Bollywood stars like Salman, Preity, Sunny Deol, Bobby Deol, Sohail Khan, Dino Morea and Mithun Chakraborty.
Produced by Salman's business manager Vikas Kapoor, 'Heroes' is a road trip movie about two boys - Sohail Khan and Vatsal Seth.
'Heroes' is the third directorial venture by Sameer Karnik, who has earlier directed Aishwarya-Vivek-Amitabh starrer 'Kyon Ho Gaya Na' and 'Nanhe Jaisalmer' with Bobby Deol.
