PM-nominee Advani on appeasement drive: Uma
Bhopal, Oct 12 (UNI) Training guns at the Bharatiya Janata Party's prime ministerial nominee L K Advani, Bharatiya Jan Shakti (BJS) Founder-President and former Madhya Pradesh chief minister Uma Bharti today said that the former was speaking in favour of Christians, and had once praised Quaid-i-Azam Mohammad Ali Jinnah, to fufill his long-cherished dream of becoming Premier.
''Mr Advani did not remember Jesus Chirst and Christians 15 years back when he lauched his Rath Yatra but now the BJP leader is mentioning that he was a student of a missionary school as he is eyeing the Prime Minister's chair,'' Ms Bharti told journalists here.
The BJS supremo, who frequently targets Mr Advani after quitting the BJP, said that she would choose Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister and Bahujan Samaj Party President Mayawati over Mr Advani and Congress General Secretary Rahul Gandhi as Prime Minister.
Expressing sympathy with Hindu outfits such as Bajrang Dal and Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP), the firebrand sadhvi said that these organisations never indulged in violence but some unscrupulous elements were resorting to violence in the name of the Dal and VHP.
