Nagpur, Oct 12 (UNI) A 50-year old man died of heart attack after his son was arrested, along with two others, in connection with a murder case, police said today.
According to police, Suresh Rawaldas Manglani (50) went into a shock and suffered a massive heart attack, immediately after he came to know of his son's arrest in Kamptee town about 15 km from here, late last evening. Manglani breathed his last before he could be given medical aid, they said.
Earlier in the day, Manglani's son, identified as Bharat alias Bunty Manglani (22), had been arrested along with Gregory alias Montu Moses (21) and Shaihalal Lakhanlal Yadav (25), all residents of Kamptee, on charges of murder, police said.
The three were suspects in the alleged murder of Omprakash Anand Shende (20), during a Durga immersion procession over a petty issue in the town on Friday night, police said.
During the quarrel, the three allegedly stabbed Omprakash and Badal Ramesh Giri (23) with a sharp weapon, they said.
While Omprakash succumbed on way to hospital, Badal is undergoing treatment, police said. The three suspects were nabbed from a hotel in the town, they added.
