Tashkent, Oct 12 (UNI) Top seed Rohan Bopanna advanced into the final round of 1,25,000 dollar Tashkent ATP Challenger series here.
The Indian Davis cuper defeated Sardor Pulatov 6-4, 6-2 of Uzbekestian in the qualifying round.
Naom Okun of Isreal, Alexey Kedriouk of Kazakhistan and Danila Arsenov of Russia also made it to the final round.
Second seed Okun outplayed Sarvar Ikramov 6-2, 6-1 while third seeded Kedriouk defeated Germany's Frank Moser 6-3, 6-2.
The fourth seeded Arsenov stopped another Uzbek player Khristos Keysidi 6-2, 6-1 to advance into the next round.
However, Michael Kohlmann of Germany upset fifth seed Denys Molchanov of Ukraine 6-3, 6-3 in a one sided encounter.
Eighth seed Ryan Young of US had to go through harrowing time before he overcame another Indian in the fray, Purav Raja 6-4,7-6 (7-2) in the toughest match of the day.
