Hyderabad, Oct 12 (UNI) Bharatiya Janata Party(BJP) floor-leader G Kishan Reddy today demanded that the Andhra Pradesh Government order a judicial inquiry into the clashes in the communally-sensitive Bhainsa town for the people to know the truth.
Talking to newspersons here, he alleged that it was not clashes between two groups, but a direct attack by a group on the religious procession. 61 shops, four lorries, nine two-wheelers and five houses belonging to a particular community were set on fire, he added.
Mr Reddy said the miscreants attacked a particular community with stones, talwars and also carried pistols with jihadi slogans, during the clashes.
The BJP leader alleged that despite the Bhainsa town witnessing communal clashes for the last three decades, the Government failed to take preventive measures and save the lives of the people.
He demanded the Government to initiate stringent measures against the culprits and sanction Rs five lakh to the family members of the deceased and a Government job to one of the family members, besides a house.
