SP urges Brahmans to uproot BSP from UP
Mainpuri, Oct 11 (UNI) Calling upon the Brahaman samaj to extend their support to his party, Samajwadi Party supremo Mulayam Singh Yadav said the Mayawati-led BSP government could be uprooted from the state if Brahmans join hand with the party.
While addressing a public meeting at National Degree College here today, the SP supremo said BSP government was resting on the strong base created by the Brahmans, however, they are being mistreated and mislead by the same government.
Had the upper caste supported the SP in the last assembly election, BSP would not have won and the picture of the state would have been totally different, he stressed.
Mr Yadav urged the Brahmans to support the party, saying SP is so powerful that if the strength of upper class join it, BSP governemnt would stand no where in the state.
