NDA swelling, claims Rajnath
Raipur, Oct 11 (UNI) Bharatiya Janata Party President Rajnath Singh today claimed that some more political parties would soon join the BJP-led National Democratic Alliance (NDA).
Without disclosing the identity of the new NDA partners, Mr Singh told mediapersons here that the NDA strength would go up and challenged Congress-led United Progressive Alliance (UPA) to stop the NDA growth.
''The names of the new members of NDA will be divulged soon,'' said the BJP leader.
He alleged that people were fed up with the Manmohan Singh government and they wanted a change of government. Hence, they yearned for early elections to get rid of the UPA government.
''The NDA government will garner the maximum majority in the next Lok Sabha elections,'' claimed Mr Singh.
He demanded that Assembly elections in Jammu and Kashmir should be held simultaneously with the year-end polls in Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Delhi and Rajasthan.
''The Congress wanted to delay elections in Jammu and Kashmir, apprehending that it will be routed,'' he added.
