Mah CM aides dominates MPCC office-bearers list

Mumbai, Oct 11 (UNI) Chief Minister Vilasrao Deshmukh has managed to get all his close acolytes on the list of office-bearers of the Maharashtra Pradesh Congress Committee (MPCC).

Prominent among them are Mr Deshmukh's close friend, philosopher and guide Ulhas Pawar, who has been made the spokesman, apart from the present Anant Gadgil.

MPCC president Manikrao Thakre himself is from Mr Deshmukh's camp.

Former spokesmen Hussain Dalvai, Sanjay Nirupam have been removed from the posts but included in the executive, which was announced yesterday in New Delhi.
