First literature meet of Govt Employees held in Nashik
Nashik, Oct 11 (UNI) A one-day literary meet of government employees, organised by Public Library of Government Employees, Nashik, was held at Kusumagraj Memorial hall here today.
Around 500 government employees from across the state participated in this meet.
State Information Commissioner and president of the meet Vijay Kuwlekar, in his inaugural address, said, ''This meet has provided a platform to government employees to express their literary talent.
It will also nurture their creativity as well as the feeling of social responsibility. Government employees should continue this movement and get the joy of doing something different than their routine work.'' A discussion on ''Freedom of Expression and Creativity of Government Employees'' and a symposium on ''Literary creation of Government Employees and Spread of Reading Culture'', were the highlights of the meet.
