Suresh Kalmadi re-elected as IOA president

Pune, Oct 10 (UNI) Suresh Kalmadi was today re-elected as the President of the Indian Olympics Association (IOA) for another term of four years at the annual general body meeting here.

Randhir Singh and V K Malhotra were also re-elected unanimously as the secretary general and the senior Vice President of the IOA for another term.

For Suresh Kalmadi this is the fourth consecutive term having been elected as the President of the IOA since he was first elected in 1996.

The other members of the IOA, including 12 vice-presidents, six joint secretaries, nine members from the representatives of state Olympic associations and 15 members from the representatives of national sports federations, associations and the Services Sports Control Board (SSCB), will be declared later in the evening.
