Jammu, Oct 10 (UNI) The former Jammu and Kashmir member of Legislative Assembly (MLA) along with two others, would undergo a Narco test for allegedly being involved in a murder case, sources here today said.
The Chief Judicial Magistrate (CJM) in a letter regarding conduction of poly-graph, brain mapping and Narco Analysis Test of the three suspects has written to the Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP), Jammu requesting to take up the matter with the DGP Karnataka and Director of Forensic Science Laboratory, Bangalore.
''The matter has been put forth and as soon as the reply regarding conducting the test will be received from FSL Bangalore, the Narco test and the brain mapping of the suspects will be conducted and the investigation of the case would conclude on merits,'' the status report however, said.
The Chief Judicial Magistrate (CJM) Jammu however, has directed the Additional SP Rural Jammu to file a status report in murder case registered against the former Jammu and Kashmir Bhartiya Janata Party ex-MLA Jugal Kishore.
As per the reports, on March 30, 1999, police recovered a dead body of one Raj Singh, son of Dina Nath Kothar lying in River Tawi near Kishanpur Manwal and the investigation was initiated under Section 174 CrPC.
Meanwhile the medical reports revealed that the death was due to haemorrhage and shock as a result of multiple injuries and it was a case of homicide, so the case under Section 302 Ranbir Penal Code (murder) was registered.
Meanwhile on the basis of no concrete clue, the actual culprit could not be found.
However, BJP ex-MLA Jugal Kishore, his brothers Nand Kishore and Ganesh Kumar alias Munna, residents of Kishanpur Manwal emerged as suspects but no breakthrough was achieved and the case was later closed as untraced and final report of the case was submitted on March 28, 2006.
