New Delhi, Oct 10 (UNI) The Communist Party of India today strongly opposed the Muncipal Corporation of Delhi's reported move to allow the commercial use of its school buildings.
In a statement, Delhi CPI secretary Amarjeet Kaur said instead of using school buildings for commercial purposes, the MCD should provide better infrastructural facilities to the students.
Instead of collaborating with some private lobby, the MCD should see to it that its schools fulfil the needs of people of the weaker sections, she added.
She said her party will be compelled to launch an agitation on the issue if the MCD did not reverse its decision.
