New Delhi, Oct 10 (UNI) A city court today sentenced three Afghan nationals to ten-year rigourous imprisonment in a drug peddling case.
Mohammad Nafir, Fazal Haq and Mohammad Rahim were arrested from Airline hotel under the Nabi Karim police station area in Delhi on April 7 last year.
More than four kg of heroin was recovered from them.
Additional Sessions Judge Babulal also imposed a fine of Rs two lakh on Nafir and Rs one lakh each on Haq and Rahim.
The judge, in his order, also commented on the conduct of Delhi police in not investigating the sources of these drugs and the heavyweights who were behind this organised crime.
The court also ordered that a copy of this order be sent to the Police Commissioner.
