12 new celebrities to boogie away in 'Nach Baliye 4'

New Delhi, Oct 10 (UNI) After an interesting musical battle in the fresh season of the 'Voice of India' and 'Sa Re Ga Ma Pa' music reality shows on Star Plus and Zee, viewers are in for an enthralling treat of dancing prowess from small screen celebrities in the pioneer dance reality show 'Nach Baliye'.

Ready to air on Star Plus from today, it is the fourth season of 'Nach Baliye', which will have 12 new television celebrities and their partners. They will put on their dancing shoes and indulge in an engrossing battle among themselves, in quest of the title of 'Nach Baliye 4'.

'Nach Baliye 4' will have celebrities like noted stand up comedian Jaspal Bhatti, Indian Idol winner Abhijit Sawant and television actors Reshmi Ghosh and Mauli Ganguly along with their partners.

To judge the celebrity contestants on the show will be Bollywood choreographer-turned-director Farah Khan, industry's new rock star Arjun Rampal and charming Bollywood actor Karishma Kapoor.

Sources in the Star Plus said the launch of the fourth season of the show, to be aired on every Friday and Saturday, was prompted by the overwhelming response evoked by the previous seasons of the reality show, which is considered a pioneer in the field of dance reality shows involving celebrities.

With a fresh line up of jodis and interesting format variations 'Nach Baliye 4' is set to add new dimensions to entertainment,'' Mr Shankar added.

As per ther format for the show, which will be aired over a period of 15 weeks, the performances of the 'jodis' every week will be scored by the judges. Post their performance, voting lines open and viewers vote for their favourite jodis.

While the first two weeks will be non-elimination weeks, from the third week onwards, every Saturday one jodi will be eliminated. Elimination will take place on basis of previous weeks' scores and this week's judges votes. Each performance is crucial and will decide the fate of the jodis.
