Soz urges party cadre to gear up for J

Jammu, Oct 9 (UNI) Jammu and Kashmir Pradesh Congress Committee president and Union Minister for Water Resources Prof Saif-ud-din Soz has asked party cadre to gear up for the forthcoming Assembly elections in the state.

''Different committees should be constituted at the district and block levels to strengthen the party and for campaigning during the elections as instructed by the AICC president Sonia Gandhi,'' Prof Soz said while addressing a party meeting here yesterday, a statement said here.

However, the JKPCC chief asked the party activists to highlight the achievements of Congress during its regime to the public.

''The block and district unit heads of the party should expedite the process of framing various committees to ensure victory of their candidates,'' Prof Soz said while reviewing overall political scenario of the districts.
