Varanasi, Oct 8 (UNI) Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) senior leader and Uttar Pradesh party in charge for upcoming Lok Sabha election Kalraj Mishra today said Ayodhya Ram temple will remain the party's prime agenda in the parliamentary election.

Talking to mediapersons here, Mr Mishra said, BJP had never compromised on issues related to religious sentiments of the people.''Ram mandir was our election agenda and would remain be until the needful is done.'' Criticising the attack on minorities and criminal assault of a nun in Orissa, the BJP leader made a scathing attack on the UPA government saying, the Centre had warned of stringent action against the culprits in Orissa, however it was mum over the communal riots in Assam.

The reason behind the Congress silence is it's share of responsiblity in the riots and violence as it is running its regime in Assam, the leader asserted.

He further blamed the Congress for increasing terrorists activities in the country saying the menace is spreading it's roots in the country due to Congress weak policies.

''In the past, no incident had compelled the people to avoid visiting religious places and remain indoors during festive seasons.

However, the senario has changed at present and people are terrorised to the extent that they feel jittery visiting Durga puja pandals or Ramlala at Ayodhya,'' Mr Kalraj underlined.

He also lambasted the Samajwadi Party general secretary Amar Singh for politicising the sacrifice of police inspector, Mohan Chand Sharma, who died in an encounter with terrorists at Jamia Nagar of the national capital last month.

He said the opposition leader had mocked the policeman's sacrifice by terming the encounter as fake.

Mr Kalraj further charged the SP, BSP and Congress parties with boosting terrorists morale. He said the way the opposition leaders were visiting Azamgarh to meet the family of Abu Bashar, prime accused in the Ahmedabad blast, expressed their view over terrorism.

They wanted to portray the image of terrorist as an ''innocent.'' He reiterated the need for POTA like law to curb the menance and said stringent law would be enforced if BJP resumed power at Centre.
