Mumbai, Oct 8 (UNI) Maharashtra BJP spokesperson Madhav Bhandari today demanded that the central government send observers to take stock of the situation in Parbhani district, where a young RSS pracharak Malhari More was allegedly killed by some persons from fundamentalist organisations, five days back.
In a release issued here, Mr Bhandari said police were given information since last two months that More's life was in danger. He alleged that these organisations were able to kidnap and kill More, because of the biased stand of police.
''There has been no attack on RSS pracharaks in Maharashtra since many years,'' Mr Bhandari said and demanded immediate action regarding the recent killing.
He said if the centre could send observers to Orissa and Karnataka to check the incidents of communal violence, a team of observers should also be sent to Parbhani to check the incident.
He said the divisive forces are becoming active in Maharashtra and this was evident from the incidents in Dhule, Thane and Parbhani and alleged the home ministry of the state could hardly do anything in the matter.
