PMK urges PM to prevent killing of Lankan Tamils
Puducherry, Oct 7 (UNI) Pattali Makkal Katchi(PMK) Volunteers led by party legisaltors, Anantharaman, Arulmurugan and Panneerselvam, today sent telegrams to the Prime Minister Manmohan Singh, seeking his intervention to prevent the killing of Sri Lankan Tamils.
They urged Dr Singh to take immediate steps to prevent the killings, ensure a cease fire and find ways for peace talks.
Similarly, volunteers of the Viduthalai Chiruthaigal Katchi(VCK), Thanthai Periyar Dravidar Kazhagam, Meenavar Viduthalai Vengaikal, Tamizhar Desiya Iyyakkam and Ambedkar Thondar Padai sent telegrams to the Prime Minister.
