Briefing the media after a Cabinet meeting, he said land acquisition for the project would begin only after solving the complaints by the committee.
'The Janakeeya Pratirodha Samithi,' an apex body of people's action councils formed to resist 'unfair' land acquisition for the project, had warned of an agitation until the government withdrew the notification for acquiring 1,088 hectare as it would displace thousands of families in the area.
The government had awarded the contract to a Hyderabad-based company for building the project in association with a Malaysian firm.
