Kerala: Two SIMI activists held by Police
Kochi, Oct 7: Two SIMI activists have been nabbed by the Kerala Police at Aluva on Tuesday, Oct 7. The Police is questioning them in connection with a SIMI training camp held at Wagamon in Kottayam district in Dec, 2007. A special Investigating Team, headed by DIG Vinod Kumar from the Kerala Police Headquarters, had apprehended the two SIMI activists and was questioning them at the Police Club since Tuesday, Oct 7 morning. The two had been arrested earlier in connection with a SIMI meeting at Binanipuram near Aluva in Aug, 2006. Further details were awaited.
