GOM final decision shortly: MoCA Secy

Hyderabad, Oct 7 (UNI) The national policy for Indian air carriers to operate on international routes is likely to be announced ''shortly'', according to Union Civil Aviation Secretary M Madhavan Nambiar said here today.

The task of formulating the national policy to foreign countries has been entrusted to a group of Ministers (GOM) under Union External Affairs Minister Pranab Mukherjee.

The government is awaiting the final decision from the GOMs.

The reoprt (final decision of GOMs) is likely to be given shortly, Mr Nambiar said.
