Hyderabad, Oct 7 (UNI) GMR Hyderabad International Airport Limited (GHIAL) has announced premium parking facility for vehicles at economical rates at the Rajiv Gandhi International Airport (RGIA), enabling the passengers to park their cars in premium parking block near the airport building.
According to a press release here, the maximum parking charge has been reduced from Rs 350 to Rs 250 per day for convenience of the passengers returning on the same day. The parking tariff for upto two hours was revised to Rs 70, while Rs 110 would be charged for upto three hours, Rs 140 for upto four hours, Rs 170 for upto five hours, Rs 200 for six hours, Rs 230 for seven hours and Rs 250 from eight to 24 hours.
Separate parking area would be provided for taxis with same charges.
GHIAL Chief Commercial Officer Viswanath Attaluri said ''keeping in view the convenience of the public, private cars are being allowed at the Arrival Ramp to pick up their friends and relatives instead of going through the parking area. Consequently, parking charges for half an hour has been removed.'' UNI VA SJ 1757
