Curfew lifted in Jammu and Kashmir
Srinagar, Oct 7 : Curfew has been lifted from all the 10 districts of Jammu and Kashmei this morning following improvement in the situation.
The decision was taken at a high-level meeting in Srinagar on Monday night.
Administration has expressed satisfaction over the peace maintained by the people during the curfew period.
Curfew was clamped all over the valley on Sunday to thwart a planned march by separatists to Lal Chowk in Srinagar on Monday.
According to official sources, the authorities decided to withdraw the curfew keeping in mind the difficulties faced by the people.
