Chandigarh Oct 7 (UNI) The Union Ministry of Roads, Shipping, Transport and Highways has approved Rs 34.22 crore for the construction of a 4-lane Railway Over Bridge (ROB) over Railway Crossing No 143 on Rewari-Bhatinda railway line on National Highway (NH)-10 in Sirsa town.
Giving this information here today, Haryana PWD (B&R) Minister Ajay Singh Yadav said that out of the total amount the Ministry would share Rs 17.83 crore whereas Rs 16.39 cr would be incurred by Railways.
He said that the total length of the proposed ROB was 588 metres.
The length of the road towards Hisar side is 276 metres and towards Dabwali side is 258 metres.
The ROB would run between Vishawkarma Chowk on Hisar side and Ambedkar Chowk on Dabwali Side, he added.
The Minister said that ROBs at Rewari, Kurukshetra, Kesri, Palwal, Karnal, Hisar and Gannaur have been completed with an investment of Rs 92.95 crore and 21 ROBs were in various stages of completion.
