Two injured, 14 houses damaged in Kashmir
Srinagar, Oct 6 (UNI) A 4-year-old child was injured critically in a road accident while 14 houses were damaged in a fire incident in which one person received burn injuries in the Kashmir valley overnight, official sources said today.
They said a vehicle wounded critically a child, Sartaj Ahmad Malik, at Kharpeth in south Kashmir district of Anantnag. He was admitted to hospital, they said.
Sources said fire broke out in a house at Baba Demb, Khanyar, in the down town city late last night. Before the flames could be controlled it spread to nearby houses damaging two houses completely and seven others partially.
One Abdul Khaliq Kawa sustained minor burn injuries in the incident.
Three structures, including a house, were gutted in a fire incident at Dachu Shopian while one house was gutted at Keller.
