Patna, Oct 6(UNI) The RJD today alleged that the Nitish Kumar government was ''misleading'' the common people in the name of development.
RJD national general secretary and spokesperson Shyam Rajak said here that after an evaluation of the achievements and the work done by the Nitish Kumar government in Bihar during the past three years of his regime, people felt ''cheated'' as the promises made by the NDA government proved to be an ''eyewash.'' He alleged that the state government was indulged in making tall promises as all of its announcements failed to reach the ground.
"Even after 48 days of the Kosi disaster, the people were still deprived of the relief materials and there was total anarchy in the relief camps of the government.Annoyed with the situation the flood victims were forced to adopt agitational path.Nearly 32 lakh people were affected with flood of which only 2 lakh victims had so far been provided with food grains in the name of relief distribution," he maintained.
