St Andrews, Scotland, Oct 6 (UNI) Jeev Milkha Singh announced his form for the upcoming Indian Open as he shot a brilliant five-under 67 to take his total to three-under 285 and climbed up to finish 24th in the Alfred Dunhill Links Championship here today.
The highest ranked Indian, who has already won the Austrian Open and Japan Open, had a four-under 32 for the front nine and then shot a one-under 35 on back nine for his 67.
Meanwhile, Robert Karlsson beat Ross Fisher and Martin Kaymer in a three-way play-off to win the title.
The Swede shot 65 to finish with a ten under par total of 278 but a birdie at the first extra hole gave him victory and took him top of The Order of Merit.
The reigning Mercedes-Benz Championship, Karlsson was off to a flying start with three birdies in his first four holes and also picked up shots at the seventh, tenth, 11th and 14th to leapfrog Lee Westwood and Padraig Harrington at the top of The Order of Merit with a bogey free 65.
