Bangalore, Oct 6: Good news for fans of Dr Rajkumar, as there will be a University and a Film complex situated in the name of the actor. "High -level talks are going on regarding the starting-up of the University and the film complex," says Chief Minister of Karnataka, B S Yedyurappa. The Chief Minister speaking in a function organised by the Karnataka Film Directors' Association on sunday, Oct 5 said, " There are plans of starting an international level film complex resembling the one in Hyderabad, either in Bangalore or Mysore. Private companies who voluntarily step forward will be given the opportunity."
"The Government has alloted Rs 5 crores to Dr Rajkumar's memorial of which, 1 crore has already been released. Steps have been taken for the starting of Film Academy. In the next state Budget, more funds will be allocated to the film industry, " said Yedyurappa.
