Dharamshala, Oct 5 (UNI) Prime Minister of the Tibetan Government -in-exile, Prof Samdhong Rinpoche would deliver a keynote address on the inaugural day of the first Europe-Tibet Congress to be held at Basel, Switzerland, on October 11-12.
He would leavefor Switzerland on Wednesday next.
An official press release of the government-in-exile here today said that the Congress would provide a platform for Tibetans living in Europe to discuss their political responsibilities and challenges.
The Congress would also deliberate on way andmeans to preserve Tibetan religion and culture.
At the invitation of California State Polytechnic University based in Pomona in California, Prof Rinpoche would also attend a three-day international conference on Mahatma Gandhi from October 17 to 19. He would deliver an inaugural address on "Hind Swaraj: It's Relevance in Today's World".
During his visit to Santa Barbara, CA, the Tibetan Prime Minister would deliver a talk on "Future of Tibet" at the request of the Department of Buddhist Studies, University of California,on October 20.
