Puducherry CM leaves for New Delhi tomorrow
Puducherry, Oct 5 (UNI) Puducherry Chief Minister V Vaithilingam, along with Revenue Minister Malladi Krishna Rao, would leave here for New Delhi tomorrow.
According to official sources, the HUDCO loan for the Tirunallar temple town project in Karaikal had lapsed due to delay in availing the loan and Mr Vaithilingam will sign a fresh agreement and finalise the rate of interest with the authorities concerned in the capital, tomorrow.
It was proposed to convert Thirunallar into a temple town at an estimated cost of Rs 90 crore, which is being obtained from HUDCO.
The Nala Theertham tank and the queue-shed would be modernised and the land for the ring-road and bus stand would be acquired initially, the sources added.
