Four lakh fake currencies seized in UP
Lakhimpur Kheri, (UP), Oct 5: On Sunday, Oct 5 Uttar Pradesh police have seized over four lakhs fake currency in Lakhimpur Kheri district and arrested two persons in this connection.
According to police, the interrogation revealed that the accused have been bringing counterfeit money from Nepal and circulating it in Hardoi, Sitapur, Shahjahanpur and some places in Bihar.
Police have recovered currencies of one thousand and five hundred rupees denominations.
