Passengers drugged in train

Patna, Oct 5 (UNI) Four passengers were found drugged in the general bogie of the new Delhi-Patna Jansahdaran express at Danapur railway station.

Railway sources here today said the passengers were rushed to the railway hospital at Danapur and were undergoing treatment there. The victims belonged to Samastipur district and had boarded the train to reach Delhi.

Some miscreants offered them biscuits in the train yesterday which they consumed along with tea. Soon after eating the biscuits they felt uneasy and had to be rushed to the hospital.

Meanwhile, taking advantage of the situation, the gang, operating in running trains, looted their valuables and Rs 30,000 cash.

Raids were on to nab the culprits, the sources added.
