New Delhi, Oct 5 (UNI) The BJP today hailed the statement of Pakistan President Asif Ali Zardari which stated that the Islamic groups operating in the Kashmir were terrorists.
Calling it a 'real welcome statement', BJP spokesman Rajiv Pratap Rudy said, '' This will usher in a new chapter in India-Pak relationship.'' The remarks perhaps would pave the way for bridging the divide between the two Nations. It reminded us of the peace initiative endeavoured by Mr Atal Bihari Vajpayee during the NDA regime. he said in a press statement.
Mr Rudy also slammed the Samajwadi Party for its Demand of a judicial probe in the Jamia Nagar terrorist encounter which was nothing but an act of betrayal to the Nation fighting terror.
'' While the terrorists have taken over the system, here we have a party endeavouring to demolish a valiant act applauded by millions.
The rabid attempt of the Samajwadi party to match the Congress party in its politics of vote bank is a dangerous trend which the Nation has been witnessing for long,'' Mr Rudy said.
