Nashik, Oct 04 (UNI) Around 200 representative from 35 districts of Maharashtra are expected to attend the state-level social conference of blind people and their organisations on October 11 and 12.
The conference will be organised by the Maharashtra unit of National Association for the Blind (NAB) here.
''There are many government schemes for blind people, but due to lack of coordination, these schemes do not reach them. There are also problems regarding education and employment of blind people. The conference will discuss all these problems and try to find out solutions,'' NAB President Rameshwar Kalantri said in a press conference here today.
