Senior journalist Sushil Tripathi passes away
Varanasi, Oct 4 (UNI) Senior journalist Sushil Tripathi passed away at Sundar Lala medical centre in Banaras Hindu University (BHU) here today.
He was 52 and is survived by his wife, son and daughter.
On Tuesday, Mr Tripathi had gone to Chakiya area in Chandauli district regarding official work, where he slipped into a gorge from Vindh mountain.
He sustained serious injuries and was admitted to the Sundar Lal medical centre in critical state, where he breathed his last this morning.
Tripathi was not only a well known journalist but also an artist. His painting exhibitions had been a big success in many cities.
He started his career from Hindi daily 'Aaj' in Varanasi and had also worked for 'Amar Ujala' and 'Danik Jagran.' At present he was working for 'Hindustan' as principal correspondent.
