Overhead wire snap stops local services between Ambernath-Badlapur
Mumbai, Oct 4 (UNI) A sudden downpour accompanied by thunder and lightning brought the Central Railway local services to a halt between Ambernath and Badlapur when an overhead wire snapped.
At 1725 hours when a local was proceeding from Ambernath to Badlapur, an overhead wire snapped after a sudden downpour and fell on the engine bringing the local to a grinding halt, a Central Railway spokesperson told UNI here today.
The official also added that the services on the Ambernath-Badlapur line were expected to re-start in another 15 minutes.
