Wasim wants Shoaib Akhtar to dance in reality show
Mumbai, Oct 3 (UNI) Former Pakistan cricket captain Wasim Akram, who is now judging the reality TV show ''Ek Khiladi Ek Hasina'', involving cricketers along with Bollywood diva Sushmita Sen today said he would love to watch Pakistani speedster Shoaib Akhtar dancing.
Akram, who was chatting with select mediapersons here, said, ''The association of cricket and Bollywood is benefiting the cricketers as was seen during the IPL.'' When asked which Pakistani cricketer, he would love to watch in this reality show, which features Vinod Kambli, Irfan Pathan, Sreeshanth, Harbhajan Singh, Nikhil Chopra and Dinesh Karthick dancing with beauties, he said, ''I would love to watch Shoaib Akhtar dancing''.
Admitting that he is not a good dancer, Akram said, ''I am there to laugh and to judge what cricketers are thinking.'' Akram said after his services on ESPN/Star Sports reality shows; this was his first brush with the reality show which is not related to cricket.
When asked about acting in Bollywood films, he said though he enjoyed the recent hits, including ''Singh is King'' and ''Jaane tu ya Jane Na'', he was not very enthusiastic about acting in films.
''Films are different and I can't say anything right now,'' he said.
The former captain said the show had made him a hit as he was now being recognised with it.
