Two killed, two injured and four structures gutted in Kashmir
Srinagar, Oct 3 (UNI) Two people were killed and two others injured while four structures were gutted in the Kashmir valley overnight, official sources said today.
They said a 40-year-old scooterist was killed on the spot when a tractor hit him at Nowgam Shahabad in south Kashmir district of Anantnag.
An Assistant Sub-Inspector of Indian Reserve Police (IRP), who was injured in a road accident at Pampore yesterday died in the hospital.
A four-wheeler fell into river Jehlum near Lasjan. However, those travelling in the vehicle were rescued by the local people, they said adding that one person was injured.
People at Chill Kawoosa in the central Kashmir district of Badgam took to streets after a CRPF vehicle hit and injured one Mudasir Ahmad Bhat and escaped from the spot.
Four houses and other structures were gutted at Trassan and Shirpora.
