Seen in dreams; idol dug out in MP village
Barwani, MP, Oct 3 (UNI) A unique marble idol of Goddess Saptshringi was dug out from a site close to an ancient fort at Jalgone village of this district after a saint had a dream about it.
The idol was dug out in the presence of Sarpanch and other dignitaries 3 km from this district's Pansemal tahsil town. A large number of devotees were converging to pay obeisance during this ongoing Navratri festival.
The two-feet idol has 18 limbs with a canopy in the form of 'Sheshnag'.
Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha leaders Lokesh Shukla and Anoop Mishra said Sant Prabhu Maharaj Bhadgonewale had in his dreams found location of the idol lying underground. Planning was in progress about installation of the idol.
The temple of Goddess Saptshringi is located on a hill at Vani town in Nasik district of Maharashtra.
