Rally demands ban on conversion, cow slaughter
Sambalpur, Oct 3 (UNI) Hundreds of people from different walks of life today paid rich tributes to Swami Laxmanananda at a sradhanjali sabha and demanded a ban on conversion, cow slaughter and strong punishment to the killers of Swamiji.
A rally brought out on the occasion converged at the district collectorate where the speakers condemned police action in Kandhamal and dubbed it as 'one-sided.' They alleged that the police unable to trace the assailants of Swamiji, have let loose a reign of terror by arresting innocent Hindus who were in no way connected with the present violence in Kandhamal.
