Nanded-Latur air services to commence from tomorrow

Mumbai, Oct 3 (UNI) New air services from Mumbai to Nanded and Latur will commence from tomorrow.

Both the services will be inaugurated in the presence of Maharashtra Chief Minister Vilasrao Deshmukh, Union Home Minister Shivraj Patil, Union Agriculture Minister Sharad Pawar, Minister of State for Civil Aviation Praful Patel and State Industries Minister Ashok Chavan, an official release said here today.

While the inauguration of Nanded-Mumbai flight will be held there at 1000 hrs, a similar function will be held at Latur at 1330 hrs.

Both the airports have been expanded for easy landing of commercial flights.

Nanded is the home constituency of Mr Chavan, while Latur is that of Mr Deshmukh.
