Gujarat congress flays BJP for opposing N-deal
Ahmedabad, Oct 3 (UNI) Gujarat Congress today lashed out at the Bharatiya Janta Party (BJP) for opposing the nuclear deal with the US without taking into account its full significance.
State Congress chief Siddharth Patel, while talking to mediapersons here, said the nuke deal would address country's power problem.
Mr Patel sought to clear the doubts raised by various political parties including the BJP, that the deal means mortgaging our sovereignity to US. He said after 1998 nuclear tests, India had voluntarily opted for a moratorium on the nuke tests.
He advised the BJP to adopt a positive approach especially when it was about the development of the nation.
